About me

Vin’s mission is to help transition the world from producing and consuming butchered meat to a more sustainable, Clean and environmentally friendly cultured meat. Vin is a scientist by training and has over 10+ years of experience in stem and muscle cell research. He obtained his PhD in National University of Singapore and then went onto work in DUKE-NUS medical school to work on independent projects pertaining to muscle stem cell Biology.

With the aim to use his research training to bring sustainable changes to meat industry, he founded Gaia foods in Dec 2019. Since then they have managed to isolate stem cells and forge collaboration with several a-star and also with local university. Gaia foods has managed to get into a very prestigious Big idea venture accelerator program and are planning for a lab prototype demo within end of the year.

Gaia foods mission is to bring a tangible and sustained changes to meat industry and provide guilt-free, clean and eco-friendly real meat option for conscious consumers who are connoisseurs of Asian food.
